This magical weekend, the Old Town is filled with Christmas cheer as the Christmas tree is lit in the square on both Saturday and Sunday.

“Christmas again” at Stiklestad

Experience Christmas traditions of yesteryear with pig slaughtering, demonstrations of traditional crafts, Christmas food preparations, freshly baked anise pretzels, and an open Café Molåna. Take the train to Verdal and visit Stiklestad on December 7th and 8th from 12 PM to 5 PM.

Watch the snow fall as you enjoy a steaming cup of coffee at historic Stiklestad. There’s fun for the whole family: children can try whittling, playing with barn elves, baking potato cakes, joining storytelling sessions, and watching a theater performance.
