The seats in the Family Carriage are Standard seats, and you must book Standard tickets if you want to sit in the Family Carriage. Departures operated with a multiple-unit train have a playroom at the end of the train set.

Travel by night

Night train Oslo – Trondheim

For those who wish to arrive well-rested at their destination, we recommend choosing the night train. On the night train between Oslo and Trondheim, you can travel either in your own sleeper compartment, in a Premium Pluss recliner seat, or in a regular Standard seat.

If you get off in Trondheim or Oslo, as a night train passenger, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast and take a shower at one of our partner hotels located close to the train station.

Our reclining seats are the absolute best for journeys between Oslo og Trondheim.

These can only be found in our Premium Pluss carriages. The seats are equipped with footrests, fold-out tables, reading lamps, and various power outlets for charging your mobile phone and laptop.
