We know that the journey is an important part of the overall experience – especially for our youngest passengers. That’s why we’ve now upgraded the play areas on the electric train sets operating on the Dovre Line. The result? A brand-new universe that makes travelling by train even more magical.
Our play areas have been a popular offering for families for many years. But over time, they had also begun to feel a bit outdated. Now, we’ve given them a fresh new look – with colours, shapes and details that invite play, imagination and small adventures along the way.
Step into the world of trolls
The new play areas are inspired by a vibrant and imaginative troll forest – a place where curiosity and play take centre stage. Here, children meet our very own mascots, the trolls Saga and Jette, who accompany them on their journey and invite them to explore and discover along the way.
With colourful elements, safe surroundings and a clear visual story, our goal is to give children a space where they can be active – while giving adults a moment to relax.
A better journey for the whole family
This upgrade is, above all, about one thing: improving the travel experience for our customers. Travelling with children can be both enjoyable and a little demanding. With our new play areas, we want to make it even easier to choose the train when travelling as a family.
