Hunderfossen adventure park
During the summer months, Hunderfossen Adventure Park and Barnas Gård (children’s farm) are open for visitors. If you’re staying for a few days, you can find accommodation right inside the park or elsewhere in Lillehammer. The Adventure Park is packed with thrilling rides and exciting attractions.
At Barnas Gård, little ones can meet friendly farm animals like sheep, goats, deer, mini pigs, rabbits, and more.
During winter you can visit the Hunderfossen Winter Park, open every February.

The journey from Oslo Central Station to Hunderfossen takes just two hours, while from Trondheim Central Station it’s about five hours to the park.
Family activities at Lillehammer


Near Hunderfossen, you’ll find Lilleputthammer, a miniature version of Lillehammer town. Here, kids can enjoy roller coasters, climbing parks, Ferris wheels, trampolines, driving cars, carousels, and plenty of other fun activities for all ages.
How to get to Lilleputthammer:
Take the train to Lillehammer and then a bus to Øyer center—just 200 meters from the park. During the summer season, there’s also a special summer bus from both Lillehammer and Hunderfossen directly to the park.
What to do in Trøndelag?
Park Nordica in Namsskogan
The park is Northern Norway’s most popular destination, offering amazing wildlife experiences along with a variety of fun activities such as zip-lining, climbing parks, and train rides.
Just across the E6 from Park Nordica, you’ll find accommodations and a swimming pool with a sauna—perfect for relaxing after an action-packed day.

Climbing Park and Ziplines in Trondheim

Getting to the park is easy: take the train to Rotvoll Station, and it’s just a 450-meter walk from there.

How to get to Tusenfryd
Take the train to Oslo Central Station, then hop on bus number 505 to Drøbak, which stops right at Tusenfryd.

- Children under the age of 6 travel for free with a paying adult on a Standard ticket—just remember to book a ticket for them
- You can reserve a spot in the family carriage on departures of the Dovre and Nordland Lines. The family carriage features its own playroom with activities, and the restroom is equipped with a changing table.
