Oslo S – Trondheim S
August 22nd 07:10 – August 23rd 17:45
All departures are cancelled in their entirety, and replacement bus services have been arranged. The buses connect with trains at Dombås.
The first departures on Sunday, August 23rd are:
- Oslo S kl. 1802 – Trondheim S kl. 0040.
- Trondheim S kl. 1306 – Oslo S kl. 1948.
Oslo S – Lillestrøm
October 10th
Bane NOR is carrying out track maintenance work. The following departures between Oslo S and Lillestrøm will be cancelled and replaced with alternative transport:
- Oslo S 08:02 – Lillestrøm 08:13
- Oslo S 14:02 – Lillestrøm 14:13
- Lillestrøm 14:38 – Oslo S 14:48
- Lillestrøm 21:52 – Oslo S 22:02

Røros – Hamar

The following train departures between Røros and Hamar are cancelled. Rail replacement has been arranged.
- Saturday August 22nd: Røros 16:23 – Hamar 19:53.
- Sunday August 23rd: Hamar 12:11 – Røros 15:39.
Hamar – Røros – Trondheim S
September 19th and 20th 2026

Dombås – Åndalsnes

Why the track is closed
To be able to repair the railway, Bane NOR must turn off the power, use heavy machinery, and remove the tracks. When that happens, no trains can run.
An increasing number of trains are operating on Norwegian railway lines. Bane NOR tries to carry out as much work as possible during the few hours at night when traffic is at a standstill, but that is not enough to cover the full maintenance needs.
