Fantastic news for the Dovre line! It was announced today that the Randklev Bridge in Ringebu, which collapsed in August during the extreme weather “Hans” can be expected repaired by spring/summer. Bane NOR reports that the extent of damage to the bridge is limited, and thereby the bridge elements can be reused as opposed to replaced entirely. This means that the bridge can be repaired faster than initally anticipated. An exact date for the bridge repair has however not yet been determined. We will provide more information as we get more updates.
After a long period of bus replacement on both the Dovre Line and the Røros Line, it is a pleasure to share this news with our customers.
